Youth Camping Trip July 14-15, 2010
Meet at Cost: $15 each Grades 6 through 8 Families welcome! Note: Older youth that would like to attend are welcome; just contact Julia.
Drivers/adults are needed - please contact Julia if you can help for all or part of the event.
¨ Shower stuff/ toiletries/ towel ¨ Tents, sleeping bag, pillow(s), & blanket ¨ BUGSPRAY!! ¨ Sunscreen/ sun glasses ¨ pjs, sweatshirt, long pants (jeans, sweatpants, etc.), clothes ¨ lunch packed in a small cooler w/ ice packs ¨ Flashlight ¨ swimsuit (if you choose for shower- there is no beach at Potawatomi) ¨ Camp chair ¨ Book(s) ¨ hat/bandana ¨ umbrella/ rain gear ¨ backpack ¨ water bottle ¨ 1 bag of snacks to share
Wednesday, July 14th
¨ Arrive and set up camp ¨ eat packed lunch ¨ hike ¨ tour campground / facilities ¨ games in the big field: Red Rover, etc… ¨ prepare dinner ¨ wash up / clean up following meal / go over breakfast plan ¨ make fire / set up for campfire ¨ make smores or get out snacks ¨ camp fire stories ¨ bedtime / get in tents
