20/30's Group - This is a fun and relaxed way for young adults to connect while they explore challenges in an accepting and non-judgmental setting.  20/30's meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. - email us or call us at 964-0143 for information where we're meeting this week.

Heart Warmers – Do you feel the call to reach out to others?  Then become part of this caring group that prepares meals at Freedom House or makes handmade “heart warmers” (cards, shawls and fleece quilts.)  The “Heart Warmers” are crafted on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Music Groups – The Praise Team meets twice weekly to rehearse contemporary praise music, Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 p.m., and Sundays 8:00-8:45 a.m. The Praise Team provides weekly leadership in our 9:00 a.m. worship service.  The Praise Choir provides the leadership at our 10:30 service and has rehearsal on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.  Singers and instrumentalists are welcome to try out for either group.  If interested in joining please contact the church office.  Soloists are welcomed also.

Yoga class, led by Joni Van Drisse, meets Sundays through the fall and winter at 4:00 p.m.  Come join us for an hour of stretching, strengthening and relaxation as we practice basic yoga poses and relaxation techniques.  Participants will need comfortable clothing and a yoga sticky mat, and should be able to get up and down from the floor with ease.  Any questions call the church office.  Bring a friend!

Tae Kwon Do Classes - These popular classes led by Blackbelts Adam and Julia Brown meet on Thursdays from 6 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00.  The monthly cost is $29 to attend both classes.  The focus of this class is not to teach people how to fight, but to develop better citizens through teachings of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit.  If you'd like to give it a try, just show up wearing comfortable clothes!  It's a great way for anyone age 8 - 108 to be fit, strong and confident.

Tai Chi Classes - Great for reducing stress and improving balance, these classes are offered free of charge by New Hope member Adam Brown.  The sessions are open to all ages, but really make an impact with the 40, 50, 60+ year old crowd as this is a wonderful opportunity to help people gain strength, flexibility and mobility. These classes meet Saturdays from 9:00 - 9:30.
